Manchester-based property developers CAPITAL&CENTRIC have appointed integrated agency Newgate Communications to manage its corporate PR.
The partnership sees the strategic agency tasked with elevating awareness of CAPITAL&CENTRIC among business and consumer audiences, both regionally and nationally. It comes as the team take on a slew of new projects across Manchester, Sheffield and Liverpool, with their first residential units coming to market.
It follows a successful first outing for the launch of Crusader, CAPITAL&CENTRIC’s 18th century mill conversion in the heart of Manchester. Relying solely on generating a buzz rather than using property agents, Newgate Communications delivered a cross-channel campaign that prompted would-be buyers to queue around the block to reserve a stunning loft apartment.
Newgate Communications – incorporating the former PPS Group – has offices in Manchester, London, Bristol, Cardiff, Leeds and Edinburgh. Newgate combines corporate, financial and brand communications with a powerful public affairs and regional PR offer.
Adam Higgins, co-founder of CAPITAL&CENTRIC said:
“This year will be pretty transformational for our business and Newgate is the perfect partner to support us. The launch of Crusader went incredibly well and Newgate’s ideas, creativity and enthusiasm were contagious. Their campaign delivered the first queue of buyers seen in Manchester for over a decade.”
Rebecca Eatwell, Managing Director at Newgate Communications said:
“CAPITAL&CENTRIC are really pushing the boundaries of property development, with a great mix of new build and design-led heritage restorations. They put the customer at the heart of what they do, creating beautiful places to work, live and play. They’ve already got a strong brand identity and loyal following in the region and we’re excited to be taking this to a national audience.”
